Project Relate

How many times have we heard it? “That man is related to you because he is your dad’s, kaka’s, sister’s…”

For the younger generation, it seems that getting your head around all the different possible combinations and permutations by which you may be related to someone is a mind-bending exercise (worthy of an additional GCSE!).

Project relate was thought up to address this issue. The long-term drive is to chart every person within the community into a huge relationship chart. This would represent links between people visually making it much more easier to understand.

The information required for such a project is bound to take a very long time to mass together, and even then, it will constantly be a rolling project with new births and marriages. Work is taking place in the background, and when a sizable amount of information is ready, it will be put on show for the rest of the community to view
